In September 2008, Vince Gabriele achieved a lifelong goal when he opened Gabriele Fitness and Performance, LLC in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Vince’s mission was to create a premier Fitness and Sports Performance Training Facility in the area he was raised — dedicated to the health and wellness of adults and the passion and success of athletes to achieve their best.
Vince and his Elite Team work with adults in new, innovative and results driven strategies and systems that he has created and have led to a large and growing group of followers in Fitness Coaching and Fat Blast Boot Campstm, In addition, his work in Middle School Athletic Development and High School Sports Performance Training has a substantial following.
His vision to change the way adults and athletes train has created new, successful programs to not only accomplish goals but surpass them, and to protect against injuries. These reflect, in part, Vince’s athletic experiences and his own struggles with injuries during his football career. Whether it was fighting through a broken leg or recovering from shoulder and finger surgeries during his playing days, Vince knew that there had to be a better way to help adults and young athletes excel and not only prevent injuries, but to help recover faster and more effectively from them. This experience and his passion brought Vince back home to New Jersey after a long and successful stint in San Diego where he honed his training skills and began to develop and perfect the systems that he would implement once he opened Gabriele Fitness and Performance. Through his many years of education and hard work, Vince has not only found that “better way” of helping adults and young athletes prepare to meet the challenges necessary to achieve their goals, he has spent his career perfecting it.
From 2003 to 2007, Vince was a Personal Trainer and the Director of Football Development at Fitness Quest 10, a nationally-recognized sports performance facility and personal training center in San Diego. During his tenure at Fitness Quest 10, Vince had the privilege of working with NFL players, youth athletes as well as both male and female personal training clients. His ability to relate to all types of people enabled him to develop a large following from several different walks of life.
Vince has been the personal trainer to – Luis Castillo, San Diego Chargers Defensive End; Donnie Edwards, former San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker; Quentin Jammer, San Diego Chargers Cor
nerback; Will Demps, former Houston Texans Safety; Jacques Cesaire, San Diego Chargers Defensive End; Jeremy Czapinski, 4th Place in 2006 World Firefighter Combat Challenge as well as several other former NFL players. Vince even had the opportunity to train former San Diego Chargers and current New York Jets running back LaDanian Tomlinson for a worldwide print ad featuring Nike sneakers while he was at Fitness Quest 10, contracted by the sports apparel giant to work with the future Hall of Fame running back on the advertisement.
Vince, a graduate of New Providence High School, received a football scholarship to Division I Temple University where he played all positions on the offensive line. After four years of Big East Football he transferred to complete his degree in Business from the University of San Diego. He continued his education and studied motor learning, applied kinesiology and anatomy at San Diego State. In July of 2007 he received a Master of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with an emphasis in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from the California University of Pennsylvania.
