Joe’s passion for training developed as a football player at the University of Connecticut. After graduating from UConn, Joe spent 1 ½ years in the business world where it became evident that he must pursue training and fitness as a career path.
Joe left the business world and joined GFP as an Intern. Participating in the rigorous internship program, Joe committed himself to long days, hard work, and constant studying. Joe completed all the coursework for his Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology, and also earned his CSCS certification.
After successful completion of the internship program and earning his CSCS, Joe was hired as a full time fitness and athlete coach. Joe’s education did not stop though. He has dedicated himself to obtaining as much knowledge as possible earning numerous certifications, attending many continuing education seminars, and committing himself to countless hours of self-study.
Through all of this hard work Joe has seen great progression through the years. Joe has been named the Director of Training at Gabriele Fitness and Performance. He has been a featured presenter at several fitness professional seminars.
Joe’s knowledge and expertise has also led him to a career in fitness consulting. Joe has worked with several gyms throughout the northeast in order to make their training systems more efficient. Joe has consulted on assessment processes, athlete performance program design, speed and agility, and general population fitness program design.
Joe’s growth is a direct result of his dedication to his client’s success and results. His greatest satisfaction in life comes from helping others achieve life and fitness goals while providing a positive uplifting experience.
He is a true professional who has captured the hearts of our clients with his knowledge, passion, excellent training skills and disarming manner.
