Each week we try to provide you with as much information as possible about Nutrition. Many times we will share a special breakfast to eat, a great supplement to take or even just a new habit to form.
We get very excited about the information we send and hope that you embrace our suggestions and use them to your advantage.
Many of you do this but how long does it last? Some of you read it, think it is a good idea, chalk it up as a little more Nutrition Knowledge and then move on to keep doing what you did before.
We can give you all the right information but if it is not applied properly it is useless to you.

THE ANSWER HERE IS SIMPLE:
Change one thing at a time and stick to it!!
We have written many times about the effectiveness of eating a “meat and nuts breakfast.” (Side note: If we talk about it more than once, it is very effective!)
Eating a meat and nuts breakfast helps people lose fat. Unfortunately, if you do it for only 3 days in the first week and go back to eating fruit and yogurt for breakfast, it doesn’t work.
- Choose one great thing we suggest and stick to that one thing for 2 solid weeks.
- Do not worry about anything else. Just do that one thing. Putting ALL your focus on eating that meat and nuts breakfast in this example is easy if you tell yourself this is the ONLY nutritional change I am going to make.
The goal is to create habits. Once you hammer down that habit you are ready for the next one.
Here is a list of a few habits we feel are the most effective when trying to change your nutrition. Remember, pick one of these things and do it for 2 weeks, NO MATTER WHAT! Do NOT try to do them all at once.
- Eat Meat and Nuts for Breakfast
- Drink a shake Post workout
- Take Fish Oil at every meal
- Add a green vegetable to every meal
- Eat 5 small meals a day
